College Admissions Prep: SAT Subject Tests

What are SAT Subject Tests? Do I need to take them?

The SAT Subject Tests are 1-hour exams that measure a student's knowledge of a particular academic content and test a student's ability to apply that knowledge under time duress. Many colleges and universities require or recommend that a student take from 1 to as many as 3 subject tests; students should research admissions policies carefully to find out what schools require or recommend.

We provide instruction for a variety of SAT Subjects: Literature, Math Level I, Math Level II, U.S. History, World History, Spanish, French, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc. For more on these programs, call our offices to inquire about specifics.
