Academic Approach: Our Results

Our instruction is not only innovative and educationally sound but also extremely effective. Over a five-year period, we have achieved the following average point gains per student:

Approach Points

On average, our students gain 45–50% of their Approach Points. We define Approach Points as the numerical difference between the student’s initial diagnostic score and a perfect score on the test. For example, a student who scores 1800 out of 2400 on his/her SAT diagnostic test has 600 Approach Points. We expect this student to pick up approximately 300 of these points for a total score of approximately 2100. The following tables detail the score improvements that our students typically experience:
